as on through this life we trod
Walking the hills and the valleys
and led by the hand of God
Show me a woman of Substance
a joy to all she does meet,
Eager to help those around her
she learns at the Master's feet
Show me a woman of Beauty
so gentle, so sweet yet strong.
A tribute to God Almighty
her life, it plays like a song.
Show me a woman of Loving
she cares for the young and the old,
Laughs with the glad, mourns with the sad
your heart she will tenderly hold.
Show me a woman of Virtue
her value beyond purest Gold,
Kneeling in prayer, or giving you care
these tidings they need to be told.
Show me a woman most Steadfast
no matter life's day or night.
A blessing to all those around her
God's flower of pure delight
